Website moved, WordPress reinstalled

As another step towards getting out of the typo3 hosting business I have moved my website to a new host.

In the process I have had to re-install WordPress and all of the plugins that I use.

If you would like to know more about my experiences, leave a comment and I may be persuaded to write more extensively on the subject.

Moving website from typo3

In preparation for my planned exit from providing typo3 hosting, I have moved all of my own content out of typo3.

Other than changes to page URLs, the major change has been moving all of my news articles (such as this) to my blog.

Once I have found new homes for my two remaining typo3 clients I’ll be able to turn off typo3 and concentrate on Sustainability Consulting.

Dr Baker to run MSc Modules

Dr Baker is to run three modules on the Trans-Atlantic College (TAC) MSc in Petroleum, Gas and Energy Management.

Following a request from TAC to CSEM, Dr Baker is to develop and deliver three modules on the TAC MSc in Petroleum, Gas and Energy Management. The modules are:

Energy Management and Policy;
Principles of Oil and Gas Exploration; and
Disaster Management and Preparedness.

Dr Baker Returns to the United Kingdom

After living in Australia since 1986, Dr Baker has today returned to live in the United Kingdom.

During his time in Australia Dr Baker got married, had a daughter, designed and built a passive solar house, installed a renewable electricity system, took part in establishing a sustainable community, developing a permaculture property, and planting hundreds of fruit and thousands of Australian native trees.

CSEM-BMP Website Updated

The CSEM-BMP website has been updated and moved to the Joomla Content Management System (CMS).

CSEM-BMP has selected the Open Source Joomla CMS for the CSEM website. Use of the Joomla CMS will allow multiple members of CSEM-BMP staff to write and maintain content on the website.
