Using Simple Shortcodes
After insalling List Shortcodes go to the Settings >> List Shortcodes page to list registered shortcodes.
On the List Shortcodes page you can activate (or deactivate) the ability to select shortcodes in the editor.
When selection is activated, in the editor you can select shortcodes to insert into your post or page.
There is one option which can activate (or deactivate) making shortcodes selectable in the editor. It can be altered using the form at the foot of the List Shortcodes page, and its default value is yes. Valid values are yes and no.
Before saving, the option is checked to ensure that it is valid. If invalid it is silently changed to its default value.
As alternatives to yes or no, y t true 1 (or any number other than 0) and n f false 0 are accepted as alternatives to yes and no respectively. Any combination of case is also accepted, such as TrUe or fAlSe. All of the alternatives are translated to yes or no.

After developing the initial version of Simple Shortcodes I was considering further features to add. In the process I came up with the idea for List Shortcodes.
List Shortcodes was originally developed late December 2008 and early January 2009.
